Doc Burnstein's Ice Cream Lab held the First Harvest Festival Ice Cream Olympics this year. The event attracted some of the finest food throwing and ice cream eating contestants of Arroyo Grande, competing in five chilling events.

Contestants battled for bragging rights in the Ice Cream Scoop Shot Put, the Waffle Discus, the Scoop Toss & Catch, and the Scoops Jenga, in addition to a traditional ice cream eating contest (no spoons of course). Brain freeze injuries were narrowly avoided, and fun was had by both contestants and spectators. Participants were randomly chosen from a raffle drawing that raised $66 for the Harvest Festival Committee. Last names have been omitted to protect the innocent!
